today's OPI 2012 Holland collection polish is I Have A Herring Problem. it's kind of reminiscent of sea green, but to me it looks more like what i call jean blue. it's medium toned, neither dark nor light, and has very slight green undertones. like most of the other shimmers in this collection, the sparkle is very, very understated. i wouldn't say it's business appropriate, though, simply because it's blue... if you're going to go blue in the office, i would definitely go with a lighter more feminine blue! great formula like most in this collection, i used one super thin coat and two thick coats... i would suggest just going with the two thick coats, you'll have complete opacity with those! i used two coats of Seche Vite to finish off the manicure to bring out the sparkles a bit more, but if you like more satiny nail looks you could either go with one coat SV or no top coat at all!
one coat Seche Base, three coats IHAHP, two coats Seche Vite.
this is not my favorite blue of all time, i prefer more saturated, jewel toned colors... but it's quite pretty. it totally screams 1980's to me... rock out those jean jackets, ladies! Ria :)
