Nicole by OPI My Lifesaver

my nerves are a little bit shattered by this cross country move! it seems like nothing is going smoothly, the housing situation is the biggest nail biter. i keep finding more and more things that aren't proceeding along as planned! i'm going to be so happy when we're finally settled in our new place :)

we're checking out Nicole by OPI My Lifesaver today. it's a turquoise cream which is reminiscent of Tiffany blue, but with much greener undertones. somewhere between this polish and China Glaze For Audrey is where the actual Tiffany blue color falls! the formula on this is lovely, two easy coats to full opacity. there was a touch of streaking in the first coat, but all that was fixed by coat two.

one coat Seche Base, two coats My Lifesaver, one coat Seche Vite.

Nicole by OPI as a brand frustrates me... when their formulas are good, they are AWESOME... but there's not much in between. most of their polishes have thin, sheer formulas that are more like glazes than actual polish. i plan in the future to do individual brand reviews in my Basically... series, those will probably start after my move! Ria :)
