CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Vio-Last

another gorgeous day in California... i have to say, i'm finally getting over my homesickness! it's really amazing to be in a place that is almost perpetually having awesome weather. plus, it was gorgeous every day so i got to go riding every day... and it was my birthday! so, i've had a great week :)

today's polish is CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant in Vio-Last. it's a purple creme that looks a true purple in the bottle... but is much more of a blurple (blue/purple) on the nail. i'm really impressed with the formula, easy to use and totally opaque in two coats. plus, it dries super glossy! i only used topcoat to aid in the drying process.

two coats Vio-Last, one coat Seche Vite.

these just started showing up in drugstores in the past few months... color me impressed! looks like CoverGirl has come up with a solid line of polishes. have you given them a go yet? Ria :)

  1. I'm always drawn to these whenever I go to Target. But I have a hard time picking one - I feel like I have so many dupes. I just need to grab one or two already and try them. This is such a pretty color! And I have always wanted to live in California! I'm in Minnesota and I think of California a lot, especially in the winter :)

    1. you should definitely give a couple a try :D you're right, they aren't the most innovative colors, but they all seem to be solid polishes. you absolutely can't beat the weather in Cali... i can't imagine wintering in Minnesota, Virginia was cold enough!!

  2. Hey Ria, the weather in where I am Nor Cal has been spectacular also. These polishes are so wonderful, I really love holding the bottles and the formula is insanely pigmented. No basecoat nor topcoat necessary, count me in. I have one, grapevine, and it is beautiful, I want more. This one has also caught my eye. SO pretty on you : )
