China Glaze Lite Brites... What I Like About Blue

today's Sunday, so church this morning and lunch with friends after! this Sunday was special because they had breakfast at church... one of the ladies there does a breakfast monthly where you can come and ask for exactly what you want out of what's available and she fixes it for you. it's awesome, she's awesome! i was a total piggie and had an omelette, 2 sausage links, a biscuit... and 2 chocolate chip pancakes. #oinkoink

What I Like About Blue is today's China Glaze Lite Brites polish! (press sample, kindly provided to me for review). it's a green-toned blue shimmer... and this shimmer isn't shy! it's a beautiful, delicate shimmer without overt glitter pieces. China Glaze describes this polish as sky blue... i disagree, i think it's more of a blue turquoise! makes me think of what i imagine tropical oceans look like in person :) people at church today noticed and liked it as well! this one seemed a touch more sheer, so you will probably need that second coat to make sure there is no patchiness. as it has neon pigment, i highly recommend a white creme base to apply it on... that's what i did. it dries pretty dull, so bring on that shiny topcoat!

one coat FingerPaints Base Coat For Neons (press sample), two coats What I Like About Blue, one coat Salon Perfect Crystal Clear Top Coat.

you can find the China Glaze Lite Brites collection at Ulta and Sally Beauty Supply... make sure to check out China Glaze on their website, www.ChinaGlaze.com!

Monday's coming at us fast... hope you have a BEAUTIFUL week! Ria :)
