Nail Bliss Nail Guard

went on a crazy trail ride today... it started out absolutely normally, just slowly going along one of the paths in the woods. the sky started to darken up... and once we'd crossed the tiny baby river, it started pouring! since we were in the woods, we weren't getting too wet, but it showed no signs of letting up so we wanted to get back. this meant a fast trot all the way back to the barn, which we never do (don't want the horses thinking it's a good idea to run back home!). we make it back, get the horses put away... then the storm completely clears off, and the sky turns a beautiful blue with white puffy clouds... so strange!

i'm SO excited to share Nail Bliss Nail Guard with you all today! (press sample, kindly provided to me for review). this product is a clear nail wrap meant to be used as a base for any type of polish, including glitter and gels! having not had the greatest experiences with wraps in the past, i didn't have the highest of hopes for these... but man was i wrong.

they are so easy to put on... no heat or anything needed, they apply just like a sticker. the most difficult part is getting them off the paper they are stuck to... there are multiple protective layers and i still haven't figured out the trick yet.

i didn't have trouble finding sizes to fit my nails, and like most nail wraps, all you need to do to prep is push back your cuticles and clean your nails with a product like acetone. once you've applied the wrap, go over it with your fingers really good to make sure it's smooth, i also held a finger on it to really set it with a little heat. then you fold the excess over the edge of the nail, and file with a downwards motion over the edge of the nail. after that, all that's left is to apply your polish of choice!

these lasted for a week on me... until i took them off! there was a little shrinking back of polish from the tips of the nails... not sure if that was related to the wraps or not. however, there was absolutely NO chipping for an entire week! and that including riding, grooming, and bathing horses! my mind is absolutely. basically, now i want to wear these constantly. if you don't want to change your polish color all the time, these are for you!!

when i went to take them off... i didn't follow the directions included in the package, and i did have a little bit of nail peel off with them. i think that was my fault, though. make sure to carefully follow their directions step by step!

i highly, highly recommend giving these a try!!... let me know if you've tried them and what you think.

they retail for $3.99 and you can buy them at Sally Beauty Supply and their websiteTHIS is the direct link. they are only $3.49 with your Beauty Club Card!

Happy Wednesday! Ria :)
