today's polish is Orly Breathable Barely There (press sample, kindly provided to me for review). you can check out the other Breathable press sample i was sent and already reviewed, Give Me A Break, HERE. Barely There is a white creme with the slightest of pink undertones. i can't believe that it's so easily opaque and perfect in two coats... that's rare with these light colors! to keep the qualities of the Orly's Breathable line (read all about that HERE), i didn't use topcoat... but this one desperately needs it. on my peely nails it chips... but the major issue for me was that it absorbs color! my hair is dyed red and when my hair got wet and a bit of dye would shift, it would stain the polish... it ended up looking almost ombre. although, that did look pretty cool. after washing the full on dye treatment out my hair today, the polish had been dyed hot pink... i was so shocked :D
two coats Barely There.
while you would lose the benefit of oxygen passing through the polish, you can always throw a regular topcoat over it!
you can buy Orly Breathable polishes at Ulta, Ulta.com, and OrlyBeauty.com! they retail for $8.99 on both. these polishes are currently buy 1 get 1 50% off at Ulta, THIS is the direct link.
Happy Friday! Ria :)
